The Series 323 was introduced in 2016 for the Osaka Loop Line and Sakurajima Line (JR Yumesaki Line) as a new model. It features a unique exterior design with a traditional orange color base accented with brown. From the 8th train set onward, the front door and the area surrounding the front display were redesigned to a straight shape.

– The model reflects the LS19 set owned by the Morinomiya Depot of the Suita General Rolling Stock Yard.

– It accurately reproduces the straight front design of the late model with no step above the front door on each leading car.

– The lightning arrester is modeled after the recent design.

– The intermediate connections feature body-mounted tight-couplers without hooks, while the front uses dummy couplers.

– Equipped with a slotless motor for smooth and quiet operation.

– Equipped with head and tail lights that light up (with an on/off switch). The headlights use white LEDs, while the fog lights are reproduced in orange.

– The Basic Set (3 cars) comes in an affordable Best Selection package. The Add-on Set (5 cars) uses an 8-car bookcase that can store the contents of the Basic Set.

– The pre-installed front display and side body display are printed with O Regular Osaka Loop Line. The replaceable front display reads “P Regular Universal City/Sakurajima.”

– Warm bulb color (11-213) is recommended for the women-only car interior light.
