Mikasa was laid down in 1899 and launched in 1900. Built and commissioned at vickers shipyard in england and upon the transfer to japan was included in the imperial navy`s fleet. The end of her service to japan came in 1922 with the washington naval conference. Kit features textured hull in two halves, davits, ship boats, steam boat, ships guns, detailed deck superstructures, four anchors, rigging guide and display stand.
