The Boeing 747 is a wide-body, long-range, passenger aircraft manufactured by the Boeing Company commonly known as the Jumbo Jet.

The first Boeing 747 was flown on February 9, 1969, and production ended on December 6, 2022. The last machine in the 747-8F cargo version with the registration number N863GT was ceremonially handed over to Atlas Air on January 31, 2023. A total of 1,574 were produced in multiple versions.
