The EF66 Series 100 is a train model that maintains the basic performance of the EF66 Series 0 but features changes in shape and paintwork. This train was designed to haul various freight cars, including those used in piggyback transport, where trucks loaded with cargo are transported via rail.

The set includes a piggyback truck that can be placed on the freight cars for play. Additionally, separately sold Tomica (mini cars) can also be placed on the cars for added fun.
